PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court on Wednesday issued notices to Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (KPPSC) on Wednesday. The commission has been asked to file reply and ordered to allow petitioners to participate in civil judges’ recruitment process. The bench, headed by Justice Nisar Hussain, heard two writs filed by Karim Khan and Fauzia Nosheen through their counsels Waseemuddin Khattak and Ziaur Rahman Tajik. The court was informed that the petitioners, who are lawyers, appeared in written tests for civil judges’ posts. Their counsels said they were given 424 and 423 marks, respectively, while passing numbers were 425. As per rules, the candidates should be given grace marks.
