VAIO's new fashionable' laptops low on specs, high on prices
C15 series comes in combination of white/copper, navy/grey, yellow/black, and orange/khaki
VAIO, which has been targeting the premium and high-end customers with its laptops, has launched a new series of laptops.
This time with its VAIO C15 series the company is looking to attract different customers. Described as a “fashionable PC” by the company, C15 is targeting the younger generation with its striking colour touted as the main feature.
However, there is still some similarity between targeted customers as the company is focusing on potential buyers who have a lot of money to spend. C15 series comes in combinations of white/copper, navy/grey, yellow/black, and orange/khaki options.
The regular 15.5-inch model of C15 with 1366 x 768 resolution display comes loaded with 4GB RAM and an Intel Celeron 3215U processor.
However, you should be ready to pay a hefty sum of money just to look different from others as C15 would cost you approximately $641. And this price is only for models that went on sale at Sony stores from Tuesday, the rest will be sold at regular stores for about $910.
Although the navy/grey and white/copper models can be upgraded to a 1080p display, 8GB of RAM, and an Intel i3 processor but for an unspecified and probably large amount of money. C15 series is currently available in Japan only.
