LAHORE:
Lahore High Court Chief Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah on Monday dismissed a petition seeking registration of a case under anti-terrorism laws against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi over genocide of Kashmiris.
He observed that the petitioner should first approach a Justice of Peace with the matter. The LHC registrar’s office had earlier raised an objection on the petition saying that the high court was not the proper forum for the purpose.
Petitioner Rana Abdul Hameed had requested the court to issue directions for authorities concerned to register a case against Indian premier on murder, attempted murder and terrorism charges.
