Pindi DC finishes bottom in rankings

RAWALPINDI:

The government has released a performance ranking of deputy commissioners across Punjab, with the Deputy Commissioner of Muzaffargarh securing the top position with 97.92 points.

The evaluation was based on governance, service delivery, and administrative performance.

None of the deputy commissioners from the six districts of Rawalpindi division made it into the top five or top ten. The performance of the Rawalpindi deputy commissioner was the lowest, placing last in the ranking with 73.08 points.

Within the division, Attock ranked 23rd, Chakwal 26th, Jhelum 31st, Talagang 36th, and Murree 39th. The Deputy Commissioner of Lahore ranked 32nd.

According to the ranking, Okara secured second position with 96.08 points, followed by Lodhran (96.04), Rahim Yar Khan (95.84), and Bahawalnagar (94.91). Other districts in the top tier included Narowal, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Chiniot, and Khanewal.

The list continued through Hafizabad, Rajanpur, Vehari, Kot Addu, Mandi Bahauddin, Sahiwal, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, Sheikhupura, Sargodha, Layyah, Attock, Kasur, Khushab, Chakwal, Bhakkar, Nankana Sahib, Taunsa, Mianwali, Jhelum, Lahore, Pakpattan, Multan, Sialkot, Talagang, Wazirabad, Dera Ghazi Khan, Murree, Gujrat, and finally Rawalpindi at the bottom.
