Burglary: Thieves strike at house

RAWALPINDI:  

Thieves struck a house within the Westridge police jurisdiction and made away with cash and valuables. Sardar Muhammad lodged a complaint with the local police that thieves sneaked into his house while they were visiting their native town and made away with Rs19,000 in cash, 21 carats of jewellery, mobile phones and other valuables. Meanwhile, Zeeshan Ehsan lodged a complaint with the same police that auto-thieves had stolen his vehicle from outside his house in Westridge. The police registered separate cases against the thieves but have made no arrests or recoveries yet.
