Reparation: Rs30m given to terror-hit families
PARACHINAR:
At least 100 terrorism-affected families were given compensation worth Rs30 million by Kohat Commissioner Mussarat Hussain in Kurram Agency. A ceremony was held in Parachinar on Monday where the families were invited by the commissioner. Kurram Agency Political Agent Ikramullah Khan also participated in the ceremony. The commissioner gave Rs0.3 million to each family of people who lost their lives in terror attacks. Hussain said the government was making efforts to ensure peace and stability for tribespeople. He also said every possible facility would be provided to help them. He also announced that Rs250 million will be given to 1,200 families in the next phase.
