PTI moves NAB against PM Nawaz over alleged corruption
Imran Khan apologises for violence on media persons by party activists during protest outside NAB headquarters

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) filed on Monday a reference with the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family for their alleged corruption.
The petition, filed by PTI leaders Saifullah Niazi and Naeemul Haq, urged the top accountability body to perform its duties in light of revelations made in Panama Papers and other ‘facts’ put forth in the reference.
PTI readies another reference against Dar
Later, party workers staged a protest outside NAB headquarters in Islamabad, where they clashed and allegedly manhandled media personnel who were covering the demonstration.
Talking to media, party chairman Imran Khan apologised for the alleged torture on media persons by PTI activists, claiming strict action will be taken against those who subjected media men to violence.
The PTI chief presented a 13-point charter for improved legislation and other development works in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), a province his party rules.

The PTI had last month filed a reference with the Election Commission of Pakistan, seeking the premier's disqualification.
The party has already announced plans to launch a nationwide anti-corruption movement from August 7 in a bid to force the PM to resign.
