We’ve all been through the hassle of carrying heavy bags for long distances around airports. Well, now you don't have to worry about that or lugging bags between gates in a rush.

Meet Modobag. Modobag is the first ever motorised readable luggage which will take you around the airport three times faster than you can on foot.

College buddies and founders Kevin O’Donnell and Boyd Bruner tried to campaign this interesting product at a kickstarter last year. However, the world wasn’t ready for it then and Modobag couldn’t raise enough money. But this did not discourage the manufactures as they made a comeback at Indiegogo, raising $23,865 of their $50,000 goal.

These new wheels don’t come cheap though. The manufacturers are taking pre-orders now and by next January, you could be the laziest person at the airport for an early bird special of $995.

The bag comes with exterior pockets and LED lights, handlebars that control direction, and a seat made of memory foam. Weighing in at 19 lbs, Modobag meets most airlines’ specifications for carry-on luggage and amazingly also complies with all FAA, TSA, UN and IATA rules.

It also features a GPS tracking and a proximity alert, in case you were to check the bag rather than ride it through the airport.

Modobag is driven by a motor with a top speed of eight miles per hour and can travel six miles with a full charge. A full charge will take less than an hour and it also features a USB port for charging your devices on the go, though texting while driving is not recommended.
