Summer camp: Police to compile curriculum
ISLAMABAD:
Islamabad Police would compile proper curriculum for next summer camp to be organised at the Police Lines Headquarters. This was stated by Islamabad Inspector General of Police (IGP) Tariq Masood Yasin on Tuesday during a meeting with parents of children attending summer camp at the Police Lines Headquarters. He said that curriculum would be compiled keeping in view interest of the children. The IGP said outdoor trips were not scheduled for the participating children due to security perspective. He said practices such as summer camps were helpful in bridging the gap between police and the public. “We all are like a family and the confidence of the people on police will increase through such activities,” the police officer maintained.
