Matriculation results: Model Town DPS grabs top 3 positions
The first position holder secured 1087 out of 1100 marks

The top three positions in the annual matriculation examinations were secured by students from the Divisional Public School (DPS), Model Town, according to the results announced on Tuesday.
The results were announced by Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Chairman Muhammad Nasrullah Virk at a ceremony held at the Lahore BISE office. Rana Omer Farman of DPS Model Town stood first with 1,087 out of 1,100 marks and Muhammad Shayan Waheed second with 1,086 marks. With 1,085 marks each, the third position was shared by Syed Momin Ali and Hussnain Mushtaq. All four students sat the secondary school certificate exams in the Sciences Group.
In Sciences Group (Girls), Semil Saleem from the Punjab Girls High School stood first with 1,083 marks; Ramisha Tahir from DPS Girls High School, Model Town, stood second with 1,082 marks and Sajal Tariq from Jinnah Grammar School third with 1,079 marks.
In Humanities Group (Boys), Sabir Ali from the Pakistan Model High School for Boys, Kasur, stood first with 1,034 marks and Shahzad from the Allied School (Al-Miraj Campus) second with 1,006 marks. Usman from Allama Iqbal Public Boys High School, Kasur, and Allah Ditta from the Government Public Model School, Nain Sukh, shared third position with 994 marks each. In Humanities Group (Girls), Iqra of Allama Iqbal Public High school, Kasur, stood first with 1,067 marks. The second position was shared by Ayesha Khalid from Society Public Girls High School, Mughalpura, and Areej Waseem of Farooqi Girls High School, Karim Park, with 1,055 marks each. The third position was secured by Uzma Waris with 1,045 marks.
