Cooperation in auditing: Pakistan, Iran sign MoU    

The heads of the two SAIs agreed to benefit from each other’s experiences through study visits

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) of Pakistan and Iran signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation in public sector auditing in Tehran. Auditor General of Pakistan Rana Assad Amin who is in Tehran on an official tour and Supreme Audit Court of Iran Senior President Amin Hussein Rahimi signed the MoU. It covers cooperation in public sector auditing. The heads of the two SAIs agreed to benefit from each other’s experiences through study visits, cooperative audits and training programmes etc. The areas for co-operative audit were identified as border management, environmental issues common to both countries and electricity transmission lines.
