Kashmir Day: Students continue to show their support for a third day

Regional dances, plays, tableaus and national songs staged on the third day of Kashmir Solidarity Day.

ISLAMABAD: Students continued to mesmerise the audience by performing regional dances, plays, tableaus and national songs on the third day of activities being organised by PNCA to observe the Kashmir Solidarity Day.

Students from Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi and Islamabad Model College for Girls (F-6/2) performed tableaus, depicting life in Kashmir and the hardships being faced by its inhabitants.

The students of National Performing Arts of Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) presented dances in colourful Kashmiri costumes, wearing traditional jewellery to showcase the rich culture and traditions of Kashmir.

PNCA also arranged a poetry recitation, highlighting the Kashmiri struggle through literary expressions.

Director General PNCA, Tauqeer Nasir, said that they had organised various programmes throughout the country to express solidarity with Kashmiris.
