Three children die as wall collapses in Lahore

Children were returning from their madrassa when the incident occurred, say rescue sources

LAHORE: At least three children lost their lives and one was injured when a house wall collapsed on Sunday in Lahore's Shibli Town.

The children were trapped under debris when the wall collapsed due to heavy rain in the area.

Rescue teams reached the site and a rescue operation was launched.

The victims were identified as, 5-year-old Ali, 10-year-old Haider and 8-year-old Ahsan. Afaq, 6 was shifted to a nearby hospital.

Rescue sources said the children were returning from their madrassa, early morning when the incident occurred.
