Thieves struck a house within the Racecourse police jurisdiction and made away with cash and valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees.
Abdullah Qureshi, a resident of Racecourse, lodged a complaint with the local police on Friday stating that unidentified thieves entered his house by breaking the locks, while the family was out of the house, and made off with Rs25,000 in cash, jewellery, two cell phones, and other valuables.
The police registered a case against the thieves but have made no arrests or recoveries yet.
