Accident Girl, mother die from electric shock
LAHORE:
A five-year-old girl and her mother died from an electric shock in Misri Shah on Thursday, police said.
Police said that Muneeba, 5, was playing in her home when she accidentally touched a live wire. Her mother, Farkhanda, too, received a shock when she tried to rescue the girl, police said. They both fainted and were taken to a hospital where doctors pronounced them dead.
Police said they had moved the bodies to a morgue for autopsy.
Further investigation was underway, they said.
