Energy crisis: ‘Govt should spend on hydel projects’

PESHAWAR: The federal government should invest in hydel power stations which will help resolve the energy crisis in the country. This was said by Awami National Party leader Sardar Hussain Babak. According to a press release issued on Wednesday, Babak said $35 billion have been allocated for China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Project to generate electricity. He said a diverse means of hydel generating sites existed across the province and the amount should be used on them.
