The super-chic owner of Truck Events shares her flair for fashion, gives us a lesson on laidback style, and even names a syndrome to avoid!

Understanding your body is the key to looking good and a trait found amongst all impeccably dressed fashionistas. While people shy away from talking about their bodies, these brave souls explain how they work their anatomies to their advantage

How would you describe your body type?

I would describe myself as someone with a slender, tall-ish shape.

Has your body type changed over the last five years?

Post baby, my body is a little different. Now I have some more fat in storage!

How has your style changed over the years?

My style has not changed much, other than keeping up with newer silhouettes. I have always preferred the same colours: navy, beige, black and white. I like to keep things simple, always.

In your opinion what is your most troublesome area?

I don’t think I’ve ever noticed one, but I’m sure there is one somewhere…

How do you dress your body according to your body type?

For my body type, high-necks and peplums are great. High-necks and buttoned collars give a structured look, while peplums can be great for adding curves. On a daily basis, I love anything that looks relaxed.

In your opinion what is the biggest mistake a person can make while dressing here?

I’m thinking of naming the syndrome where people wear all their labels out: WMLGHC (Watch my Louis, Gucci, Hermès, Chanel). Too many labels, with no actual sense behind the outfit, is a big mistake people tend to make.

What silhouettes suit your body the most?

I love full-sleeved pieces, high-necks, and flappy awkward pants.

What is the one piece of clothing that you shy away from wearing and why?

I’d say bandage dresses, can’t stand them!
