Nuisance: Two men shot dead by ‘drunk’ neighbour
The protesters dispersed when police assured them that they would do their best to arrest Kaka
LAHORE:
Two men were shot dead by a neighbour in Nawankot on Sunday night, police said.
They said Akram Ali alias Kaka had been making a noise in the locality after drinking liqour. He had an argument with Waqas and Mujahid when they asked him to stop disturbing his neighbours. Instead, Kaka shot them. They were taken to a hospital where doctors pronounced them dead.
The bereaved families later staged a protest demonstration near Babu Sabu Interchange demanding that police arrest Kaka. They placed the bodies on the road and blocked the motorway resulting in traffic chaos in the area. The protesters dispersed when police assured them that they would do their best to arrest Kaka.
