Multiple incidents: Three women among five killed
She was killed after someone threw acid on her body
CHARSADDA:
Five people, including three women, were killed in different incidents in Charsadda.
A woman and her mother were killed inside their house within the jurisdiction of Nisatta police.
Marjan Ali killed his ex-daughter-in-law Maryam and her mother Sanada. Maryam was married to Ali’s son, but got a divorce from him. Her parents were planning to get her married to some other person. However, Ali was against the idea, which is why he, along with others, went to Maryam’s house and shot the two women dead.
On the other hand, the body of a 20-year-old woman was found in Prang Ghar police’s jurisdiction. She was killed after someone threw acid on her body. Investigation into the case was under way. In Tangi, Ghulam Akbar killed Kiramat on the court premises. The police arrested the accused. In another incident, Wajid Khan was killed by his uncle Muslim in the Berlin area of the same tehsil over land dispute.
