Revealed: Meet Saira Shahroz's co-star in Chalay Thay Saath

The wait is over. Saira Shahroz's mystery co-star in her debut film Chalay Thay Saath has finally been revealed.

If you remember, the first look of the upcoming film sparked curiosity as fans were left guessing as to who the male lead was.

The second poster of the movie, directed by Umer Adil, was unveiled today and so we now know international actor and filmmaker Kent S Leung is the other leading actor in the film.

Kent, who will also be making his Pakistani film debut, took to Instagram to share his journey in Pakistan saying: "After what was an unforgettable and eye-opening experience shooting for 45 days in Pakistan for the Pakistani feature Chalay Thay Saath, I’m happy and relieved to be back in my now second home in Beijing among friends and loved ones."

Saira Shahroz set for the silver screen

Speaking to The Express Tribune, Saira shared details about the film's storyline. "Chalay Thay Saath is really about losing everything yet finding love and finding it in your heart to move on. It's a story big on values, family, friendship and love," she said.

"And most importantly, it takes you into the most progressive and scenic places of Pakistan. You'll probably see Pakistan like you haven't seen before," she added.

About her co-star, Saira said, "He was really good to work with, super fun to have on set and a very fast learner, I don't think I have seen anyone pick up Urdu as fast as him."

One step at a time

The film also stars Behroz Subzwari and Zhalay Sarhadi and is slated to release next year.
