Euro 2016: It’s about two countries, not Ronaldo vs Bale
Wales' star Gareth Bale is ready to face his opponent teammate of Real Madrid to reach the Euros final
Wales main star, Gareth Bale said that the upcoming Euro semi-final is not about the two mega stars of Real Madrid, it is simply Wales vs Portugal aiming to reach the Euro final to face either Germany or France.
“It’s not about two players, everybody knows that, it’s about two nations, 11 men v 11 men,” said Bale, adding, “It will be a very different game, they’re in the semi for a reason but we’ll enjoy the occasion as we have done.”
So far, Bale has managed to score three goals for the Welsh side who failed to score against Belgium last Friday but this does not mean the Real Madrid will back down from scoring goals in the future. However, Ronaldo has scored two goals so far who is still considered to be on the race for the top runners to grab the Golden Boot this year.

“[Ronaldo is] a fantastic player, everybody knows what he can do, but we speak about what we can do as a team. The teams we’ve played had very good individuals, but it’s about how we perform as a team and by doing that we can shut out a lot of threats,” the Wales’ star said.
The 26-year-old seems to be enjoying taking his country side to the Euro semi-finals for the first time in their football history with his team-mates while Ronaldo is being critised for his actions and bad behavior for throwing the mic of a reporter to the lake and calling the Iceland team for having a small mentality. However, the Welsh star prefers not to comment on his Real Madrid’s team-mate and focus on reaching the Euro Final.
“I’m not too sure [if Ronaldo is feeling tense], I can’t comment on what he’s feeling. I’m sure he had his reasons for doing what he did,” Bale said.

I feel, he said, comfortable and we’re enjoying ourselves. Sometimes you have to fulfill your responsibilities and doing interviews is a part of it.
“We get on well at Madrid and we enjoy playing with each other. I’m not sure what he does off the pitch, that’s his private life. It’s not for me to decide who the better player is. If I can help Wales win that’s all I need.”
