Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE have announced that Eid ul Fitr in these countries will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 6, Al Jazeera reported.
Authorities made the announcement on Monday evening after failing to sight the moon that marks the start of the three-day festival.
The starting day varies every year and from country to country depending on geographical location.
The "festival of breaking the fast" marks the end of Ramazan. It is celebrated for three days and is an official holiday in all Muslim-majority countries.
