Understanding your body is the key to looking good and a trait found amongst all impeccably dressed fashionistas. While people shy away from talking about their bodies, these brave souls explain how they work their anatomies to their advantage
How would you describe your body type?
My body type is pretty average. I am neither too fat, nor too slim. On some days I feel fuller than others.
Has your body type changed over the last five years?
My mind changes everyday, it evolves with every passing day and so does my body. Therefore in the last five years, I would say I have gone through various changes.
How has your style changed over the years?
My style has always been the same. It’s fashion that has changed.
In your opinion what is your most troublesome area?
I like to believe in flaw-awesome. Which basically means I make my flaws awesome! I play around with silhouettes in a way where no one can figure out what my problem areas are.
In your opinion what is the biggest mistake a person can make while dressing here?
When you forget to be yourself. My biggest advice is to be your kind of beautiful. Don’t be a fashion victim!
What silhouettes suit your body the most?
I have never told anyone this, but my body type is such that either really long or really short pieces suit my upper body. Also, for me, layering is always key in creating the illusion of a perfect shape.
What is the one piece of clothing that you shy away from wearing and why?
That has to be a body hugging white T-shirt! This is because if I ever wear one, it will give away all my secrets and shamelessly expose my curvy body.
