Pledging to take along all opposition parties, Imran said that if things did not improve, his party would not hesitate in launching an agitation campaign after Eid.
The PTI chairman said that his sister was harassed in Lahore and guns were pointed at her during the passing of a motorcade of Maryam Nawaz.
He wondered who had allowed Maryam Nawaz to act like a princess or run the country.
Condemning the brutal murder of renowned qawwal Amjad Sabri and the kidnapping of the son of Sindh High Court chief justice, Imran Khan said that the Rangers were performing well in Karachi and their performance was reflected in the considerable improvement in peace and security in the Sindh metropolis.
He said that corrupt rulers were national villains, adding that the rulers had acquired offshore assets by using money acquired through corruption and money laundering. He said that he would not sit idle until he ensured that these corrupt rulers were in jail.
Ridiculing Nawaz Sharif for claiming to devise accountability laws himself, Imran Khan said that until and unless the entire nation rose up, the country had no future.
Accusing the Sharif brothers of acquiring loans worth Rs4 billion prior to the 2013 elections, Khan said that despite these huge loans, they were allowed to contest general polls.
Khan said that the rulers had ‘bought’ the judiciary, adding that the rulers had appointed their ‘yes-men’ in FBR as well as NAB and even in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). He said that the rulers had won elections by resorting to manipulating results on a massive scale.
Warning the rulers, he said that their days were numbered and that he could see ‘change’ fast emerging on the horizon.
He said that he was visiting Karachi for raising funds for his charity hospital.
He said that he was inviting everyone to join his party’s campaign against corruption.
According to him, the amount of funds raised through tax-paying charities was far less than the amount looted through corruption.
He said that his party was ready to give more time to the government for devising ToRs, adding that he would welcome an investigation into his own fortunes in accordance with the same ToRs which were being devised to probe into offshore assets of the Sharif family.
He said that if Nawaz Sharif thought that people would simply forget about holding him (Nawaz) accountable, he was sorely mistaken.
