On Duty: Worker dies as roof caves in

LAHORE:
A labourer died on Friday when the roof of an under-construction house caved in, in Factory Area. Police said he was working at an under-construction house on Ghazi Road when its roof collapsed. He was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors pronounced him dead. Police said they had registered a case under Section 322 of the Pakistan Penal Code against Siddique, the contractor. They said they were carrying out raids to arrest him.
