Immediate action: Six absentee doctors issued final notices
Sindh health minister has issued final show-cause notices to these doctors
Provincial health minister Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has issued final show cause notices to six long absent doctors.
The doctors, Quratulain, Amrita Khatri, Hidayat Ullah Kerio, Erum Qureshi, Abdul Samad and Narjish Memon, were issued notices for personal hearings but they failed to comply with the orders.
These doctors are all of Grade 17. Being the competent authority, the Sindh health minister has issued final show-cause notices to these doctors and has said that if they fail to obey the order, they will immediately be dismissed from their services.
In a statement issued by the provincial health department on Friday, Dahar warned all absentee employees of the Sindh health department to attend to their duties immediately otherwise their services will be terminated.
He also said no pressure or influence would save such doctors.
