Paramedics protest enters third day
Paramedic staff demands immediate implementation of their service structure.
ISLAMABAD:
The paramedic staff of federal health institutes continued to protest for a third day demanding an immediate implementation of their service structure.
Mohammad Arshad, secretary-general All Pakistan Paramedic Staff Federation, said so far no official from the Ministry of Health has contacted them to discuss the matter.
“However I have found out that the file containing the documents for the implementation of the service structure has been moved to the higher-ups in the ministry,” he said.
He was also told that a draft has been formulated for the implementation of the service structure and will be soon moved to the establishment division.
The ministry also gathered all the details about the paramedics and their positions in the hospitals which were delayed for the past seven months, Arshad added.
“However we will continue our protest until the ministry orders the implementation of the service structure,” he said.
