Commendable Feat: Govt school students clinch top positions
The schools have pressed the government to give special prize to the position holders

Two students from government schools in Lakki Marwat secured top positions in their matriculation exams. Officials privy to the development told The Express Tribune on Wednesday, Tauseef Junaid Khan from Government Shaheed Muhammad Ghassan Khan Centennial Model School secured first position after he scored 1,008 marks. On the other hand, Shafeea Anam, a student from Government Girls High School No 1, clinched second position by scoring 1,007 marks. The administration of both schools and elders of Lakki Marwat have pressed the government to give special prize to the position holders as it will help encourage more students to work hard and achieve academic excellence.
