QUETTA: A day after four policemen were gunned down in the Balochistan provincial capital, at least four personnel of Frontier Corps (FC) were killed and three others injured on Wednesday.

Two terrorists, riding a motorcycle ambushed the FC personnel, killing four and wounding two others, including a passerby on Quetta's Double Road, said an FC spokesperson.

The victims belonged to the Sui Rifle Wing of the Frontier Corps, and were engaged in maintenance of their vehicle when they were attacked, FC spokesperson Khan Wasay told The Express Tribune.

LEAs and rescue workers soon reached the site and cordoned the area. The injured were shifted to the Combined Military Hospital.

4 cops killed in Quetta attacks

Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Zehri condemned the attack.

On Tuesday, motorcycle-borne gunmen shot dead four policemen in separate targeted attacks in Quetta.

Gun and bomb attacks against police have spiked recently in the provincial capital. Over 30 policemen have been killed in the city this year alone, according to an official tally.

Chacha Jee | 8 years ago | Reply CPEC is actually CPEC 2. CPEC 1 was when NATO supplies were allowed. Same argument were made then just check old news paper. But only recognization in Pakistan if somebody earned worldwide out of CPEC 1 NATO supplied was by GOOD TALIBANS... NATO supplies brought good talibans and along with it came drones.
Hari Om | 8 years ago | Reply Excesses committed by Punjab dominated security forces targeting Balochi origin people such as extra judicial executions, sponsoring death squad militia’s, enforced disappearances, torture, custodial rape, and the like will inevitably be resisted by the freedom yearning people of Balochistan. The 700,000 Punjabi dominated occupation forces will not succeed in dousing the fire of liberation in Baluchistan as was the case in the erstwhile East Pakistan which forms todays Bangladesh. India must provide fullest diplomatic and moral support to the Baloch freedom struggle. Indian Consulates in Iran and Afghanistan must provide all necessary help to Baluch freedom fighters.
