Amir will get a good reception in England: Shane Warne

Australian spin legend Shane Warne believes it will be a "who has a better bowling attack" competition in the Pakistan-England series which will commence from July 14 with the first Test to be played at Lord's.

The 46-year-old believes the top-order will have to face a hard time trying to cope with the seam on English pitches.

"I think both the bowling sides will be good," said Warne. "I think the top order will be tested, of both Pakistan and England."

Warne said batsmen will face difficulties since the weather has not been good. "The weather has been horrific, pitches are going to nip around and seam," he said. "So, it is going to be tough for those top-order batters. I think it is going to be a good series."

The former leggie, who an inspiration to the Pakistani leg-spinner Yasir Shah, also commented on Mohammad Amir's comeback saying he will be fine.

"I feel for him. He’ll be fine. He is an excellent bowler. Hopefully he will be at his best for the series," said Warne.

When asked what kind of reception he will receive at the hands of the English fans, Warne said: "I am sure he will get a good one.”
