While trends fade, style remains eternal and one piece can be put together in many different ways. In this feature we have three fashionistas showing us how to put together an item from a designers collection, according to their own individual style and taste!

These heavily embroidered pants from Mahgul’s ‘The Indus Society’ collection, create the beautiful abstract pattern of a butterfly wing. They can easily be translated from day to night, and have a fusion appeal. The designer states: “For those of you travelling, they also make the perfect addition to your holiday wardrobe!”

My personal style is very minimalist, so I went for a non-fussy look because the pants were definitely the statement piece in the outfit and I wanted them to do all the talking. I decided to pair them with a black top I bought from a boutique in Italy, and I kept the look simple with a pair of Sergio Rossi wedges and my Mahgul butterfly clutch. For my make-up, I went for nude-bronze tones. I freshened my hair to give it a bit of volume, but overall I kept my look simple. This would be the perfect outfit for a night out with friends!

My personal style goes from being comfortable, to feminine or edgy, depending on the occasion. At first glance, what I thought was the most fantastic thing about the pants was that they could be styled and worn from day to night. I could wear them with sneakers or espadrilles and alternatively I could opt for a high heel. Finally I decided to wear a crop-top with sheer edges and a sleeveless silk jacket on top. I paired this with a double band ring and Perspex heels. I kept my make-up dewy, applying a nude gloss and some mascara, and for my hair I got a voluminous blow-dry. I would wear this outfit to a party.

My style is typically simple yet chic. So for these Mahgul pants, I decided to go for a classic, elegant look. I chose a plain black peplum top, which kept the focus on the gorgeous pants, and paired them with my classic Valentino shoes. I wore my gold earrings and a sleek Kate Spade bracelet. My make-up was done by the multi talented Ayesha Ali Salman who gave me a very natural look that perfectly suits my personality and style. This look is perfect for a dinner, a small get-together or even a party
