Three children drowned in Township, Bannu on Monday. Locals said six-year-old Abu Huraira, nine-year-old Waheedullah and eight-year-old Muneebullah were swimming in a pond in Tazeeri Bezan Khel area when they drowned. The children belonged to a displaced family from North Waziristan. Rescuers recovered the bodies and shifted them to Khalifa Gul Nawaz Medical Complex for legal formalities.
