Millions Deprived; Water schemes disconnected
According to Wapda officials, public health department must first clear the dues it has to pay to Wapda

The water supply schemes of two areas of Malakand distrct have been disconnected, as a result, public in both districts has been deprived of water and is facing severe difficulties. According to Batkhela SDO, both the areas’ electricity connections to water supply schemes have been cut by the public health engineering department on the instructions of Dargai executive engineer. According to Wapda officials, public health department must first clear the dues it has to pay to Wapda. However, as a result of cutting down of electricity connections to water supply schemes of public health engineering department, millions of people have been deprived of water.
