Police officers from Swat have been awarded by IGP Nasir Khan Durrani for their exemplary performance and commitment to their services.
This was stated in a handout issued on Friday. According to the document, the awards were distributed during a ceremony held at Central Police Office in the city. As per the handout, officers of the Swat police had recently rescued a child who had been abducted and arrested the perpetrators.
“Hayan Ali, a three-year-old, was kidnapped for ransom,” the document stated. “The kidnappers demanded ransom worth Rs20 million from his parents.”

According to the handout, a series of raids were carried out in Abbottabad, Mansehra and Nowshera to determine Hayan’s whereabouts. Sadaqat Ali, the three-year-old’s father, accompanied police officials during these crackdowns.
“Taj Bibi and Abdul Mateen were arrested,” the document stated. “They were residents of Ghazi Kot, Mansehra.”
Speaking on the occasion, IGP Nasir Khan Durrani said the commitment and gallantry shown by the Swat police helped a family reunite with their child.
