Praising nurses: Minister stresses for merit-based recruitments
The health minister assured that the health ministry will be ready to provide any technical guidance
ISLAMABAD:
Minister of State for National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination Saira Afzal Tarar has emphasised on merit based recruitments and administrative reforms in Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC).
She directed that the council should develop an organogram according to its current requirements and arrange an external human resource review on priority basis.
In a meeting with PNC representatives on Friday, Tarar urged for making necessary arrangements for audit review and to arrange brainstorming meetings for expanding vision of the council.
She suggested hiring international experts in order to review and improve nursing sector in the country as per international best practices.
