Casualties: Four killed, two injured in Bannu
In another incident, two children were shot and injured when unidentified gunmen opened fire
BANNU:
At least four people died while two others were critically wounded in three separate incidents in Bannu.
A police official told The Express Tribune, a man killed his brother and sister-in-law in Dogar Umarzai within the jurisdiction of Town police station. According to the official, the assailant has been identified as Hamid Ali. “Hamid killed his brother Shaukat Ali and his wife Zarmina Bibi over a family dispute,” he said. “The incident took place at his house.”
A case has been registered and further investigation is under way. Separately, two internally displaced persons (IDP) from North Waziristan were crushed to death by a speeding car on Bannu-Kohat Road.
“They were travelling from Domail to their camp when the incident occurred,” he said. “Both Sadiq and Badshah died on the spot.”
The driver managed to flee the site.
