Instagram to add translation button from next month
Users will see a translation button on feed stories and profile bios written in foreign languages
A day after Instagram reached 500 million user base, the photo and video sharing app announced it would be adding a feature to help its users to better understand and communicate with each other.
To cater to the needs of growing Instagram community, the app in a post on Wednesday said it is adding a translation tool to its app from next month.

“In the coming month, you’ll see a translation button on feed stories and profile bios written in languages different from your own,” said the filter-driven app.
Instagram user base surges to 500 million
With the help of the new translation tool, Instagram said people will “soon be able to understand the full story of a moment, no matter what language they speak.”
Given the fact that the translation feature was already available on its parent company, Facebook, it was probably just a matter of time.
Twitter allows users to share 140-second videos
The visually-oriented service is already supporting 25 languages.
Although the Facebook-owned application said it is rolling out the feature, tech website Engadget claimed they were already seeing the button.
