The Saddar improvement project includes construction of a pedestrian zone, a food street and a night market, according to the press statement issued from the commissioner’s office.

The project will be constructed in three different phases and will be completed in the next six months, said the press statement.

Adjacent to the Empress Market, Mir Karam Ali Talpur Road, Preedy Street and Raja Ghazanfar Ali Road will be pedestrianised and traffic will be barred from these roads. At Raja Ghazanfar Ali Road, a night market will be constructed. The traffic will pass through Mansfield Street and Daudpota Road.
