Law and order: Two ‘robbers’ killed in shootout
A police spokesperson said four robbers had snatched a motorbike from a citizen near D-Ground in People’s Colony

Peoples’ Colony police on Saturday claimed to killed two robbers in a shootout on Jaranwala Road on Friday. A police spokesman said four robbers had snatched a motorbike from a citizen near D-Ground in People’s Colony and fled from the scene. He said on being informed, the Eagle Squad of People’s Colony police chased the robbers and cornered them near Koh-i-Noor Flats Chowk.
He said police had ordered the men to surrender but they opened fire on the officials. He said two men were wounded in the exchange and fell off their motorbike. He said their accomplices managed to escape.
