Casualty: Teenager drowns in Khanpur Lake
A ban has been imposed under Section 144 on swimming in Khanpur Lake
HARIPUR:
Another teenager drowned in Khanpur Lake in Haripur on Saturday. Police and eyewitnesses told The Express Tribune the deceased was an amateur swimmer and went to the lake along with his friends. His remains were shifted to the hospital. This is the second such case that has surfaced from the region over the past three days. Earlier this week, an 18-year-old teenager — identified as Abu Huraira, a resident of Khokhar Maira village in Havelian — also died in the lake while he was swimming. A ban has been imposed under Section 144 on swimming in Khanpur Lake.
