The protesters were demonstrating against load-shedding and blocked the road leading to Kalam valley

Traders observed a shutter-down strike against security forces in Mingora on Thursday for inflicting violence on traders and people in Khwaza Khela tehsil. “Security forces got into a scuffle with protesters, thrashing the latter at the main bazaar located a kilometre away from Titabut in Khwaza Khela. This was claimed by Khwaza Khela Bazaar President Sajjad Khan as he spoke to The Express Tribune. The protesters were demonstrating against load-shedding and blocked the road leading to Kalam valley. However, after they dispersed, security forces went to the bazaar and thrashed those busy with routine activity.
