Crucial measures: Volleyball federation to appoint foreign coach
Coach to train players for Asian Men’s U20 championship from July 9
KARACHI:
Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) have planned to appoint a foreign coach for the training of both junior and senior players in the country. The move comes after the federation witnessed great skill and talent at the junior camp for the Asian Men’s U-20 Volleyball Championship which will begin on July 9.
The PVF organised a camp for the junior players which started on June 10, to prepare for their upcoming assignment at Chinese Taipei from July 9 to 17. “The players have extraordinary talent — most of them are only 18 years old, they are also tall which can be of a lot advantage,” said PVF chairman Chaudhry Muhammad Yaqoob while talking to The Express Tribune.
On the cards: Sports gala to begin on April 12 in Bajaur Agency
He added that the PVF has planned to appoint French coach Shailen Ramdoo, who is based in Finland.
