
The meeting focused on the energy, water, transport and cleanliness problems of the city. Haq advised Shah to allocate a special package for Karachi worth Rs500 billion, in collaboration with the federal government. He stressed that projects like K-IV and mass transit should be completed at the earliest.
The CM assured Haq that the problems of the city, which he mentioned, will be resolved and strong steps will be taken to resolve these issues on a larger scale.
Haq, while talking to the media after the meeting, also said that Karachi has turned into a hub of problems and some issues are very important and must be solved. According to him, the main issue that needs the attention of the government is road infrastructure and water shortage.
