LAHORE:
An additional district and sessions’ judge on Wednesday sought comments from the Naulakha SHO in a petition seeking action against a man whose alleged negligence damaged the petitioner’s house in Landa Bazaar.

Petitioner Muhammad Zulqarnain submitted that Sheikh Muhammad Naeem Badshah, the general secretary of Lunda Bazaar Traders’ Association, had a shop at the back of his house.

He said poor quality of sewerage infrastructure fitted at his shop had caused seepage, causing cracks in the wall at the back of his house.

He said when he raised the matter with Badshah he had refused to do anything about it.

Badshah had also threatened him with dire consequences if he kept pursuing the matter, he added.
