Man killed, wife, daughter injured

RAWALPINDI:
A man was killed while his wife and daughter were injured in a house fire in Ratta Amral area of Rawalpindi on Wednesday.
The incident took place at Khan’s house in Gulshan-e-Data due to short circuit, said police.
The police said that the fire engulfed the house and Khan died instantly. His wife and daughter were injured.
Meanwhile, robbers snatch cash and mobile phone from a man in the Banni area. Tariq Mahmood lodged a complaint with the police that three motorcyclists intercepted him at Sirajiya Park Chowk and snatched Rs600,000 cash, a mobile phone and other valuables. The police registered a case.
