Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has asked Water and Power Development Authority to allow Karachi Water and Sewerage Board to lift 25 million gallons per day of water from the Hub Dam, which is currently at dead level, so that Karachi’s water shortage can be controlled. “This lifting will continue for the next 25 days,” said the CM. District West deputy commissioner Asif Jameel Shaikh said that his district is suffering terribly due to the water shortage.
