'Udta Punjab' leaked online

A 40-minute clip containing the film's 'crucial scenes' is available on internet: reports

Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer 'Udta Punjab', which is scheduled to be released this Friday has found itself amidst fresh controversy.

A 40-minute clip, which contains 'crucial scenes' of the film has been leaked on the internet, Times of India reported.

Reports suggested a few websites even have the entire film, which depicts how the youth in Indian Punjab succumbed to drugs, running on their portals.

The Bombay High Court overruled on Monday the Central Board of Film Certification’s recommended 13 cuts for Udta Punjab and cleared the film for release with only one cut and three disclaimers by the filmmakers.

The Indian censor board was also directed to issue an ‘A’ Certificate to the film.
