Is Mawra Hocane moving to India already?

The Pakistani actor who made her Bollywood debut with Sanam Teri Kasam is hunting for a house in Mumbai these days.

“I have been living in a hotel for the past year, and I am tired of it. I want my own space. I have been house-hunting in Mumbai for some time now. I should zero in on one in the next few days,” Mawra told Hindustan Times.

The 22-year-old who keeps shuttling between Karachi and Mumbai for work further said, “My routine is similar to that of a nomad. But I crave for the comforts enjoyed by a normal girl. In fact, while shooting for my debut film, Sanam Teri Kasam, I turned my vanity van into my room.”

Mawra to star opposite Varun Dhawan?

Mawra is so fond of India that she couldn't stop praising it. She said she has received “a lot of love and respect" there.

“I am happy with the variety of work I’m getting here, and the mix of people I have met,” she added.

This guy seriously can't take his eyes off Mawra Hocane!

She also spoke about her admiration for Priyanka Chopra.

“I feel that my career mirrors hers. She is working in the US, and in India, while I shuttle between Pakistan and India. I cherish the feedback I have received from her on Twitter,” said Mawra.

Sumi | 7 years ago | Reply @Hasan iliyas....Bollywood is a Free business market like IPL.... here, not only Pakistanis, but afghans, Bangladeshi, Brazilian, European artists, dancers, technicians come to work in Bollywood…..and Bollywood has a global market, it earns from all continents

HBK | 7 years ago | Reply From the past many years, many Pak actors actresses have been coming to India,,,working in 2-3 lndians movies…. after some time when they don’t get work in movie, then they work in big boss or some other Indian tv shows for few episodes….and finally they disappear

Bollywood film makers hire Pak actors at very low amount only few lakh rupees and Bollywood movies earn extra 5-10 cr profit from local 20 million Pakistani audience and from 5 millions Pakistanis who lives in Gulf, USA, Europe, Gulf etc….This is called perfect business

Working with Unknown Z grade movie director/New comers who nobody prefers to work with, and can't afford to pay A lister fees. @Haji Atiya They can buy property in india, but there are several clauses to it. Adnan and his ex wife had many properties in India for which they are fighting in Indian court, bought prior to becoming citizen. So does salma Agha and others.

Mega | 7 years ago | Reply @Salman Pity, paltry sum - 10 lakh is considered heavy pay to you. Glad we could provide jobs to jobless needy family dependent on us here. ADNAN, Salma agha etc went same route - searching homes, never returned back and settled here. We too don't mind it, unless they follow law of the country and don't become kasab.
