Woman among three shot, tortured in child molestation case
According to family head Ghafoor, the culprits were forcing them into comprise after raping his nephew
Three people including a woman were shot and injured as four gunmen barged into their house in DI Khan on Monday.
Confirming the incident, a personnel at Paharipura police station said that the incident occurred at Bagwani Shomalli village.
Talking to The Express Tribune, head of the family Ghulam Akbar said the armed men wanted to force them to compromise after one of them raped his nephew.
“One of the culprits, Ghafoor, had raped my nephew, Rahim, and are now trying to force us into a compromise,” Akbar said.

He said that the armed men tortured him, his sister Hayat Bibi and his nephew and later managed to escape from the scene.
The injured were rushed to a hospital in Paharipura where they are said to be out of danger.
Meanwhile, police have launched search to nab the culprits who are at large since the incident.
Earlier on March 11, Senate passed a bill that criminalised for the first time sexual assault against minors, child pornography and trafficking, making them be punishable by up to seven years in prison.
