Heated exchange: Local Council Board secretary shot

PESHAWAR:
Local Council Board (LCB) Secretary Zafar Ali Shah was injured when a local government employee allegedly opened fire on him at his office in Hayatabad on Monday.
While speaking to The Express Tribune, Cantt SP Kashif Zulfiqar said Rehman Sher was an employee of Topi Tehsil Municipal Administration and a resident of the same district. “He went there for his posting and a heated debate erupted between the secretary and the employee. Sher took out his 9mm pistol and shot Zafar Ali.” The secretary suffered an injury to the hand.
